Jordan did a great job on his Red Belt testing this week. His pattern was crazy! It had 120 moves that he memorized with no problems. We are proud of our little samurai warrior! Good job Jordan! Keep up the hard work...
The picture shown above was taken from our house. One of the many awesome sunsets that we get to enjoy! We have a beautiful view of Fayetteville looking out to the West..

House Update
The brick exterior is on and the drywall and texture are done. They are laying tile and doing the trim work this week. The cabinets are suppose to be installed this Sunday. We can't wait to see them! The garage doors will be installed next week as well. The house looks great and we are very happy to be almost done with it. We can't wait to move in soon! Root Rocket Talent Show
On the last day of school Jordan got to perform in the school talent show doing one of his taekwondo patterns. He was excited to do it and all the kids thought he was really cool. There were a lot of great performances from many of his fellow schoolmates too. Jordan is now a big 3rd grader!

Jason Mraz
Tonight we got to enjoy the Jason Mraz concert in Tulsa, OK. The Plain White T's opened up for them. Thanks to my parents we got to do a meet and greet with Jason prior to the show. He was a really cool guy and down to earth. The kids were a little nervous but they did good and took this picture with him. The show was awesome! He has some mad vocal skills!

Ice Storm 2009
Well, 2009 is off to a rough start so far. We just went through the worst Ice Storm Fayetteville has ever seen. We were without power for 6 days straight. The kids enjoyed not going to school but they soon realized it wasn't as fun being without the electricity to watch tv or play on the computer. We toughed it out a couple of the nights even with the temp getting down in the upper 40's in the house! We then packed up all our stuff and pets and checked in to a hotel for a few days to keep from freezing. The sounds of trees snapping and crashing down came every couple of seconds. At night the cloudy sky would light up with a blue tint as the power pole transformers blew up. It was a pretty spooky sight. We are settling back in as of Superbowl Sunday and were able to watch the game with the power coming back on that afternoon. Check out our pics on our photo album link to the right. Some have a blue tint because I didn't realize the mode the camera was in...
